Roux 01

Michel Roux Jr took over the helm at the world famous Michelin starred Le Gavroche in 1991. Since then, Michel has won numerous awards for his cuisine and has continued to set the standard for classical French fine dining in London.

Prior to Le Gavroche, Michel honed his skills working for master chefs in Paris, Lyon, Hong Kong and London, spending two years with Alain Chapel and cooking at the Elysée Palace for President Mitterand. Michel was a judge on BBC’s MasterChef: The Professionals.

Steve Groves

Head Chef

Steve Groves has been head chef at Roux at Parliament Square since 2013. His food style is classical with a modern approach. He finds inspiration for his food all around him.

"A fantastic ingredient, a piece of artwork, a childhood memory or the great people I've worked with."

In 2009 he won Master Chef the professionals, I guess it could be seen as the mother of all job trials!
